The regular run
The South West is a big region with the population spread thinly along the coast and clustered in a handful of towns. Rather than claim to cover all of it equally, here is where crews are genuinely regular, and what is different about each.
Bunbury and the northern end
Bunbury is the anchor — a city with a full mix of 1950s inner suburbs, coastal blocks on limestone and newer estates on the fringe, all under the City of Bunbury's own rules rather than a shire's.
Immediately around it, Eaton sits across the Collie River in the Shire of Dardanup, on river flats with their own drainage and species mix, and Australind runs north along the Leschenault Estuary in the Shire of Harvey, where paperbark and tuart country meets a rapidly growing residential strip.
Capel covers the stretch south of Bunbury including Dalyellup, Gelorup, Stratham and Boyanup — tuart country on sand, with a lot of semi-rural blocks and therefore a lot of firebreak work.
Geographe Bay
Busselton and the coastal strip either side of it is peppermint and tuart country in sand over limestone, with the Vasse-Wonnerup wetland system behind it. Vasse to the west is the fastest-growing part of the shire, largely new estates with young street trees and retained remnant stands that come with conditions attached.
Dunsborough and the Cape Naturaliste end is the most exposed coast we work — dense peppermint thicket, shallow sand over limestone, and a reliable afternoon sea breeze that shapes every tree on the block.
Down south
Margaret River and the Augusta-Margaret River shire is different country again: karri and marri forest on gravel and laterite, taller trees, steeper ground and a shire that takes vegetation retention seriously.
What travels with us
The same services apply everywhere — removal, lopping, pruning, stump grinding, land clearing, firebreaks and storm work. What changes town to town is the species mix, the soil, the access and which council's rules apply.

Frequently asked questions
Do you charge extra for travel to outlying towns?
Travel time is built into the quote rather than added as a separate fee. In practice that means a single small job well outside the regular run prices higher per tree than the same job in Bunbury or Busselton. Combining jobs, or booking when a crew is already working nearby, is the way to bring that down.
Which shire am I actually in?
It is not always obvious. Bunbury is its own city; Eaton sits in the Shire of Dardanup; Australind is in the Shire of Harvey; Capel, Dalyellup and Gelorup are in the Shire of Capel; Busselton, Vasse, Dunsborough and Yallingup are all Shire of Busselton; Margaret River, Cowaramup and Augusta are Shire of Augusta-Margaret River. Your rates notice settles it.
Do you cover towns not listed here?
Often, yes. Harvey, Brunswick Junction, Donnybrook, Boyanup, Nannup, Yallingup, Cowaramup and Augusta all get worked regularly when there is enough on to justify the run. Ring and ask — the answer depends on what else is booked in that direction that week.
