In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sugar Loaf Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 90 657 585 370), the operator of this website. "You" means any visitor or person who submits an enquiry. "Provider" means an independent tree contractor, company or tradesperson who may carry out work for you. "Services" means the tradesperson referral service provided through this site.
What the service is
We operate a referral service. We match people who need tree work with independent Providers who offer that work in the South West of Western Australia.
We do not perform tree work. We do not employ the Providers, we do not supervise them, and we are not a party to any contract you enter into with them. Any quote, agreement, price, scope, timing, warranty or guarantee is between you and the Provider directly.
Any parts, materials or plant used in the work are supplied by the Provider and are not included in any referral we make.
Verification
We do not inspect or verify a Provider's licensing, certification, insurance, qualifications, competence or experience. We rely on information Providers give us about themselves.
Before engaging any Provider you should ask for, and satisfy yourself about, their public liability insurance and current certificate of currency, their relevant tickets and qualifications, and any licence applicable to the work. Where a licensing authority exists, verify with that authority as well as with the Provider. This is set out further in our disclaimer.
Your obligations
- Give accurate and complete information about the property, the work and access. Our ability to refer you sensibly depends on it.
- Obtain any approvals that the work requires. Tree removal and vegetation clearing in Western Australia can require local government approval and, for native vegetation, a clearing permit. Obtaining those is your responsibility as the landowner or occupier, not ours and not the Provider's.
- Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to interfere with it, scrape it, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages.
Quotes, disputes and payment
Quotes are given by Providers, not by us, and are subject to what the Provider finds on site. Payment is made to the Provider on the Provider's terms.
If a dispute arises about the work, the price or the conduct of a Provider, it is a matter between you and that Provider. We are not a party to it, we do not arbitrate it, and we are not liable for its outcome. We would still like to hear about it, because it affects who we refer work to.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the referral service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

The text, layout and images on this site are ours or are used with permission, and may not be reproduced without consent. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we do not control or endorse their content.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the courts of that state. We may amend these terms at any time by publishing an updated version on this page.
